Crypto App

The BlockFi Crypto App project aimed to develop a user-centric mobile application that empowered individuals to manage their cryptocurrency investments efficiently. With a focus on user experience and functionality, the app provides seamless access to various crypto-related features, such as portfolio tracking, trading, lending, and earning interest.

About this project

When I embarked on this project, I posed a fundamental question to myself: how can we make the journey from first steps to the inaugural crypto purchase intuitive and carefree? My task was to fashion that very "first experience" for users who are taking their initial steps into the world of crypto investing. As a product designer, I took a holistic view of the project, ensuring that every design decision resonated with our product vision. The Design Thinking process guided me – from understanding our users deeply, to ideating creative solutions, to prototyping and testing our designs rigorously.

Token Detail Page

I have added a feature to set trigger notifications. This allows users to set a certain value at which they will be sent a notification. For example, a user can set up a notification when the price of 1 BTC reaches a certain level.

When clicking on a specific point on the chart, the user will see information about the price of the cryptocurrency at the selected point in time. In addition, we also provide information on how many dollars or percent the price has changed since the selected point.

If the price experiences significant changes or other important events occur in the cryptocurrency, the app can send notifications that are displayed in this window

Payment method

When users click on the icon, they will see a pop-up window or tab with detailed explanations of the available payment methods. This may include a description of each method, its benefits and possible limitations.

When users click on the icon, they will see information about the fees associated with each payment method, as well as additional fees. This may include a description of how commissions are calculated

To the right of the selected payment method ("Apple Pay") there is a "Change" button. Users can click on this button to select a different payment method.

Payment Method Selection

For the first two methods ("Bank Card" and "Crypto Wallet") it is indicated "instant" - it means that the payment will be completed instantly. For the third method ("Manual Bank Transfer") it is "1-3 days" - it means that the user can expect the payment to be completed within 1-3 days.

On the "Bank Card" screen, the user sees additional options for paying with a bank card. This includes popular options such as Apple Pay, Mastercard and Visa.

unique animation and radial glow purple color effect were integrated on the loading screen, creating an attractive and dynamic experience for users while waiting.

On the loading screen with the error message, we use a red radial image visualization and also provide a "Back to Wallet" button. This design element helps the user realize that something has gone wrong and provides a path back to the briefcase (wallet).

Error 1: Insufficient Funds

Error 2: Payment Declined. We will inform the user that the payment was declined and provide alternative payment options.

Error 3: Technical Glitch. Suggest trying again later.

My responsibility was curating a UI kit that would serve as the design language for our project. This entailed defining color palettes that resonated with our brand identity, crafting typography that conveyed a sense of character, and designing icons that seamlessly communicated complex ideas.

In conclusion, this project has been a delightful journey that's left us with more than just a great design. It's been about understanding users, embracing innovation, and celebrating the power of collaboration. It's about making an intricate world accessible and delightful for everyone.
